THIS IS THE ONE THE NEW YZ450F 2011 MODEL
IT IS AN ALL NEW RADICALLY CHANGED BIKE WITH A BASKET FULL OF SURPRISING MOUTH WATERING IMPROVEMENTS.
Well it is as roomers had it an all new bike with fuel injection. The new 450 has a reverse cylinder head so the fuel goes in the front and the exhaust out the back. There has been so much hard work gone into this bike by having the air/fuel go into the front with a more direct root and the gas coming out the back Yamaha have greatly improved the power. The air filter is now up the front under the tank, this allows the fuel tank to be moved down and backwards this lowers the center of gravity. There has been alot of work done to the bottom end as well giving an overall greatly improved engine, the monster energy Yamaha GP team have been testing the 2010 machine and have said the out of the crate the NEW 450 is more powerfull than their own GP bikes. This said we can expect plenty of Yamaha holeshots next season!
The frame is much the same as the new YZ250F frame with the cradle design helping to harness the power of the new engine, and with the new rear shock and revalved front suspension transferring the power to the track you have a race winning package. All the plastics have been changed now giving a more aggressive appearance but with attention to detail with ‘Yamaha’ embossed on the lower fork guards and on the lower parts of the radscoops and airbox there are little Yamaha emblems embossed maybe to give some exta grip to hold on to the beast or maybe just to look cool either way Yamaha have got it right. The new style is what the 450 and 250 needed to take motocross forward. There is also tons ‘trick’ bits with black rims, wavy discs, pro-taper bars and much more.
